Margarita loves all of the toys that we have scattered around the house. She loves them so much that she carries them one by one back to her crate so that she can lay in a pile of them. It's quite adorable.
Margarita on the Beach
Meet our foster Margarita! She was found on a beach in Puerto Rico and is now up for adoption thanks to LDCRF. Get to know her by looking at this blog and seeing what a beautiful girl she has blossomed into!

Play play play!!!
We had an extra puppy overnight last night and this morning all five dogs were running and playing like their lives depended on it. Afterwards they were so tired that they all collapsed on the couch.
Margarita's tongue was hanging out like crazy after running with the puppy. She is such a silly sweetheart.

Puerto Rican Beauties
This is Margarita with our shy shepherd, Lucia. They are both Lost Dog rescues from Puerto Rico and they just love each other! I think they share secrets in Spanish.

Breakfast time!
Margarita loves food, so breakfast time is one of her favorite times of the day! Look at how nicely she eats with everyone else. She even shares when our puppy Apollo sticks his face in her bowl. She is such a good girl.

Little Miss Social
Margarita is getting better at this adoption event business! She always starts off a little nervous when we get into the car, but after a few minutes she has a goofy smile on her face and is enjoying the car ride to our Petsmart destination.
We arrive in the parking lot and she looks at me knowingly as if to say "Hey! We just came to one of these scary things last week! Why aren't we at home snuggling?!" But like a trooper, she jumps out of the car and gives me a nervous look as we walk towards the chaos and the crowds. After about an hour of walking around her tail will start to wag and she'll bounce along in a happy trot as I offer her some of her favorite treats. She'll even take them from strangers and children as long as they approach her nicely.
At the end of the events this weekend, no one has scooped up our little Margarita, but that's just fine with me. I have another week of snuggling and puppy kisses ahead of me. Besides, Margarita worked very hard being brave and I think she needs some extra nap time.

Making Friends
Margarita has settled right in with our pack of puppies! Here she is with her foster sister Lucia, a shy shepherd we adopted from Lost Dog. The two of them love to play together and romp around the house.
Margarita is also good friends with our bossy little terrier Mamah and our rambunctious pit bull puppy Apollo. She has learned how to share her toys with the other dogs, especially our puppy who is a skilled thief. She doesn't mind sharing her food with him either since he is always shoving his face in her bowl. She is just a great member of the pack and absolutely loves other dogs.
